SCORE EMR replaces paper patient files with secure, searchable digital records — accessible from any branch, any authorised device, any time. It is engineered for the workflows of Ugandan facilities: OPD-led outpatient care, ANC, paediatrics, dental, chronic disease management and inpatient admissions. Records persist across visits, providers and branches, providing the continuity of care that paper-based clinics simply cannot deliver.
Patient demographics, vitals, allergies, problem list, medications, lab and imaging results, clinical notes, e-prescriptions, immunisation records, attached documents, and a full visit timeline. Customisable templates speed documentation for common visit types. Drug interaction warnings, allergy flags and required-field rules raise the safety floor. Every change is timestamped and attributed in the audit trail.
Patient data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Role-based access control restricts who can see what — receptionists see registration data, doctors see clinical data, finance sees billing data. Consent capture is built in. SCORE follows HIPAA-equivalent privacy principles and aligns with Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019. Daily encrypted backups protect against data loss; multi-region failover protects against outages.
EMR is included in SCORE-RX (clinic, $85 per branch/month) and SCORE-HMS (hospital, $150 per branch/month) — there is no separate EMR licence to buy.
